Spring, 2010 Schedule

There will be a couple of changes for the Spring, 2010 classes. As always, both Level II and III classes will be split into two sessions. For the Spring each session will be eight weeks long.

New for Spring 2010, Level II will be split into Youth (under-14) and Adult classes. Both will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. That requires a change of schedule. Level II Youth will meet from 5:00-6:30, Level II Adult from 6:30-8:00, and Level III from 8:00-9:30. Saber will also move back to 8:00-9:30 on Thursdays.

We'll also have two sessions of our Fencing Camp for Kids, one session of the Advanced Camp for Kids, and one session of Adult Level I.

Competitions

The Las Positas Fencing Center has several people competing in Bay Cup events this year. Kyle Schalin is competing in the Junior Men's Epee. Matt and Riley Wraith are both competing in epee events. John Lockhart is competing in Veteran's Foil, and Connor Lockhart in Youth foil. Coach Stephen continues to compete in Veteran's Foil and Epee.

Our own "Swords After Sunset" series resumes with one Fall event,on December 18. It will be an end-of-Fall, pre-holiday event, so mark your calendars.
